Sound workshop with Tom Joyce

Tom Joyce, a year 13 student came into our lesson to teach us about sound. He showed us how to use Audacity and the sound equipment. 

Syncing sound: 

You start by turning on the microphone and the recording device. You then call what is being shot then the take. After, you clap. This makes it visually easier to see when to sync the sound when on audacity. This is because the sound waves on audacity have changed height. You then record the sound. once recorded, you turn off the mic and the recorder then upload the sound to audacity.
